Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced that his office has charged Antonios Xenos, of Valley Park, Missouri with consumer fraud in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County. Xenos is charged with 16 counts of deceptive business practice, a class E felony.

The Missouri Attorney General’s Office announced today that the Office has reached a settlement with the City of Marshfield after the Office sued the city for allegedly enforcing a traffic ticket quota. The consent judgment, which provides strong injunctive relief, was signed and entered by the judge yesterday afternoon.

Attorney General Eric Schmitt and a coalition of state attorneys general today announced a more than $85 million multistate settlement with American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and Honda of America Mfg., Inc. (collectively “Honda”), over allegations Honda concealed safety issues related to defects in the frontal airbag systems installed in certain Honda and Acura vehicles sold in the United States.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced today that 85 untested sexual assault kits were gathered from 22 neighboring agencies and shipped from the Clayton Police Department in St. Louis County. The Attorney General’s Office has worked with law enforcement agencies across the state to gather untested sexual assault kits from neighboring departments to be shipped off to the lab.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced that the latest batch of untested sexual assault kits was gathered from neighboring departments at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department yesterday and shipped to the lab to be tested. In total, 35 kits were gathered from five departments and shipped to the lab.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt announced today that his office, through the SAFE Kit Initiative, reached an important milestone in the effort to clear the backlog of untested sexual assault kits in Missouri - since late December of 2019, over 1,000 untested sexual assault kits from across the state have been gathered and sent to a private lab to be tested.

Two SAFE Kit Initiative shipping events were held at the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Office and New Madrid County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Each shipping event gathered untested sexual assault kits from neighboring agencies to then send to the private lab to be tested.
