JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Today, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced that Dan Engemann is joining his office to serve as Director of Policy and Outreach. In this role, Engemann will manage the office’s policy, legislation, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Dan join my senior team,” said Attorney General Bailey. “Dan will be an incredible asset to the Office, and I look forward to working with him to better serve citizens across the state.”
Engemann most recently worked as Director of Regulatory Affairs for Missouri Farm Bureau. Previously, he served in the Missouri Senate as Chief of Staff to Senator Karla Eslinger and District Director for Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz. Additionally, he served on the staff of Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer, was the Executive Director of the Coalition to Protect the Missouri River, and worked at the Missouri Soybean Association and the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
Engemann studied at the University of Missouri, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with a minor in political science.

Engemann currently resides near Hermann on the family farm with his wife Amanda and their children.
