Attorney General Schmitt Offers Message of Support for Those Fighting Coronavirus

Mar 27, 2020, 16:03 PM by AG Schmitt
Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt is offering a message of support to those who are on the frontlines of fighting the coronavirus in Missouri and across the country. Attorney General Schmitt recorded a video and sent a letter to a number of different associations offering support and praise for the work that they’re doing to help fight the coronavirus.

“In these challenging times, a number of our first responders, grocery store workers, truckers, nurses, doctors, small businesses, farmers, and more are working overtime to save lives and provide Missourians with the goods and services they need,” said Attorney General Schmitt. “There are many unsung heroes that are on the frontlines of responding to this crisis. I invite my fellow Missourians to join me in thanking them for their sacrifice and dedication in serving the people of this great state. Whether at the grocery store or pharmacy check out, spotting an officer on the street, a trucker on the road, or an encounter with a medical professional, a simple ‘thank you’ will go a long way.”

In addition to the video, Attorney General Schmitt this afternoon sent letters of support and thanks to the following organizations:

  • Missouri Association of Rural Health Clinics
  • Missouri Cattlemen’s Association
  • Missouri Chamber of Commerce
  • Missouri Corn Growers Association
  • Cotton Producers of Missouri
  • Missouri Dairy Association
  • Missouri Farm Bureau
  • Missouri Association of Fire Chiefs
  • Missouri Fraternal Order of Police
  • Missouri Hospital Association
  • Missouri Nurses Association
  • Missouri Pharmacy Association
