AGO attorneys, staff share holiday blessings with those less fortunate
January 4, 2008 Attorneys and staff at the AG's offices in Jefferson City raised more than $1,000 in monetary, food, and gift donations for three needy families through the Voluntary Action Center in Columbia. Staff worked through the AG Office Committee to adopt three families, including 9 children and three mothers. More than 100 gifts were donated (some of which are pictured), and AGO staff gave at least $40 per family in supermarket gift certificates, so the family could purchase food for their holiday meal. Victoria Lautman, Curt Stokes, Jennifer Gardner and Jessica Blome led the effort for the Attorney General's Office.
