Patriotic Employer Award
June 16, 2005 Assistant Attorney General Linda Manlove, a member of the U.S. Navy Reserves, presents the Patriotic Employer Award to Attorney General Nixon. The award was given for Nixon's willingness to authorize leave with pay for military service each year. The award is issued by the U.S. Department of Defense, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee. Manlove served as staff judge advocate at Naval Support Activity in Bahrain, which provides logistical support for the Navy's 5th Fleet, currently operating in the Persian Gulf.
