St. Louis Post-Dispatch misattributes quote of Senator Ron Richard on HB 436 to Attorney General Koster

Jefferson City, Mo. – The Monday, September 9, 2013 edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, in an article entitled "Tax cuts, guns focus of veto session" misattributed a quote appearing on Page A4 to Attorney General Koster. The following quote contained in the article is actually attributable to Senator Ron Richard (R-Joplin):

"It's up to the Legislature to pass good legislation that is drafted properly, and this argument that 'even if it is unconstitutional, vote for it anyway,' is the silliest argument I’ve ever heard." Once the inadvertent misattribution was discovered, the Post-Dispatch corrected the online version of the story. The Post was not able to correct the print edition in time, which still contains the error.
