Trenton man sentenced for statutory sodomy crimes

Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster said that Bryan Coon, 34, of Trenton, was sentenced today to 60 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for sodomizing three victims.

Coono was sentenced to 60 years on first degree statutory sodomy involving a victim under the age of 12 years; 50 years on each of five counts of first degree statutory sodomy involving victims under the age of 14; four years on two counts of furnishing pornography to a minor; and seven years on two counts of first degree endangering the welfare of a child. The sentences will be served concurrently.

The case had been set for trial on March 6, 2012, but the defendant pleaded guilty to all eight counts on March 3, 2012. Grundy County Circuit Judge Jack Peace presided over the plea and sentencing.
