Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster said today that Judge Keith Sutherland has sentenced Jeffrey Wayne Kemp, 32, of Montgomery City, to 25 years each for two counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree. The sentences will be served concurrently. A Montgomery County jury found Kemp guilty August 21.
The jury found that Kemp sexually abused a 4-year-old female child and a 1-year-old female toddler between October 2010 and January 2011 in Montgomery County.
The Attorney General’s office was appointed as special prosecutor in this case. Assistant Attorney General Monty Platz of the Attorney General’s Office prosecuted the case.
