Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster said he has sent a letter today notifying representatives of the St. Louis Rams and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Bureau that the state intends to comply with an open records request regarding proposals made on upgrading the Edward Jones Dome. Koster said he will provide the documents to the requesting party on Monday, May 14, unless a court rules that the records should remain closed.
In a letter sent today to KTVI-TV, which made the records request, and to the St. Louis Rams and the law firms of Husch Blackwell and Lewis, Rice & Fingersh, Koster said that the state’s Office of Administration is preparing to respond to the records request, and “in the absence of any judicial order to the contrary, [the state] will produce the requested documents by the close of business on Monday, May 14, 2012.”
Charles Jaco of KTVI sent the records request May 3 to the Office of Administration and notified the Attorney General’s Office of the request. Jaco asked for copies of any proposals and correspondence regarding plans to upgrade, improve, and update the Edward Jones Dome.
