Marion County man found guilty of rape

Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster said today that David Murry, of Hannibal, has been found guilty of two counts of statutory rape. Marion County Judge Russell Steele heard the case. Koster said the children were 11 and 16 years old at the time the rapes were disclosed.

Koster said Murry will be sentenced on June 27 and faces up to life prison.

Koster said Assistant Attorneys General Sue Boresi and Morgan Ditch represented the state in the case.
