Harrison County man pleads guilty to sodomy

Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster said today that Orlando Stoner, 42, pled guilty to three counts of 1st degree statutory sodomy following an investigation and prosecution by the Missouri Attorney General’s office.

Koster said between January 2009 and March 2010, Stoner sodomized his 11-year-old victim on multiple occasions. The case had been set for trial on February 3, 2011, in Livingston County on a change of venue from Harrison County. Worth County Associate Circuit Judge Joel Miller was assigned to the case after the defense filed for a change of judge.

Koster said sentencing is set for March 30. Stoner faces 10 years to life on each of the three counts.

The Attorney General’s Office was named Special Prosecutor in the case. Assistant Attorneys General Julie Tolle and Lauren Barrett represented the state.
