Attorney General Koster to represent the state in sentencing phase of Kenneth D. Tomlinson case -- Tomlinson pled guilty to 22 counts related to sexual abuse of minors--

Jefferson City, Mo. – Kenneth D. Tomlinson II will be sentenced tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. at the St. Charles County Courthouse, 300 North 2nd Street, fifth floor, Division I courtroom. Tomlinson, a former Fredericktown Police Captain, pled guilty in November to all 22 counts he was charged with related to the sexual abuse of minors. Attorney General Chris Koster will be in the courtroom to represent the state, along with Sue Boresi, an Assistant Attorney General in Koster’s office. The Attorney General’s Office was named Special Prosecutor in the case.

At the time the crimes occurred Tomlinson was the Captain of the Fredericktown Police Department and a Boy Scout leader.

The sentencing hearing will be in front of the Honorable Ted House.
