Attorney General Chris Koster issues statement on commutation of Richard Clay

Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Chris Koster today issued the following statement on the Governor’s decision to commute the sentence of Richard Clay to life in prison without parole:

“These are difficult decisions constitutionally vested with the Governor of our state. I am confident that Governor Nixon gave this case careful consideration and I respect his decision.”
