Attorney General’s mobile office in Joplin relocates -- mobile office joins state of Missouri office site --

Jefferson City, Mo - Attorney General Chris Koster said today his mobile office that has been operating at the Red Cross Shelter on the Missouri Southern State University campus has relocated to the state of Missouri site. The move will help improve the opportunity for “one-stop-shopping” for Joplin residents who can benefit from state assistance and information.

The Attorney General’s Office is now located in the state office at 705 Illinois, Building A, Suite 12.

Koster opened his mobile site Monday to provide mortgage-counseling assistance to individuals, as well as monitor and investigate consumer fraud. Koster said Assistant Attorneys General and investigators staff the mobile office from 8:00-6:00 Monday-Fridays, and other times by appointment. Individuals can also receive the assistance through the Attorney General’s consumer hotline at 1-800-392-8222.
