Roderick Nunley execution off for today -- AG Koster vows to continue court fight --

Jefferson City, Mo.— At 9:00 a.m. today, the Missouri Supreme Court issued a briefing schedule that carries through until January 2011 regarding the execution of Roderick Nunley. This decision clearly indicates that no execution will occur this day.

“Roderick Nunley has now spent more time on death row than Ann Harrison spent on earth,” Attorney General Chris Koster said. “The process of justice can be frustratingly slow, but this office pledges to continue to make our way through the courts until we reach justice in the name of Ann Harrison and her family.”
