Jefferson City, Mo. -- Attorney General Chris Koster said Chad Michael Harvey, 19, pled guilty today in Audrain County to second degree murder, kidnapping, and abandonment of a corpse in connection with the murder of James William Boyd McNeely in Laddonia. The Attorney General's office is assisting Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Shellabarger in the prosecution of the case.
"As the prosecution moves forward, my thoughts are with the family of Mr. McNeely," Koster said. "The Attorney General's Office is working to ensure that justice is served in this case."
Harvey will be sentenced December 20 in Boone County.
