Attorney General Koster issues statement on Governor Nixon's water quality enforcement effort at the Lake of the Ozarks

Jefferson City, Mo. -- Attorney General Chris Koster today issued the following statement on Governor Nixon's new enforcement initiative to improve water quality at the Lake of the Ozarks:

"I applaud Governor Nixon for his commitment to tackling water quality issues at the Lake of the Ozarks. I look forward to joining with the Department of Natural Resources in prosecuting violations of state clean water policy and permit violations that could contribute to diminished water quality at the Lake of the Ozarks.

"Governor Nixon's emphasis on improving water quality at the Lake of the Ozarks is also a priority in this Attorney General's Office, and I know that together we can take big strides forward in this area."
