Nixon discusses MKT railroad bridge with Boonville officials

Boonville, Mo. — Attorney General Nixon met today with Boonville city officials and representatives of a group formed to save the old MKT railroad bridge.

Nixon said he is concerned about plans to relinquish the state's interest in the historic bridge that would result in its dismantling by the Union Pacific Railroad.

The group met in the old train depot and toured the historic bridge.
