St. Louis, Mo. — Attorney General Jay Nixon joined other Missouri officials on the steps of the Capitol for a Sept. 11 remembrance sponsored by the Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

The ceremony remembered those who lost their lives a year ago and honored those law enforcement, firefighters, first responders and military personnel who risk their lives every day to preserve our freedom.
