The Missouri Gasoline Price Task Force met in July 2000 in Jefferson City to gather information from the oil industry and the public. It also met in other locations throughout Missouri. Task force members are from left: John Saunders, director of the state Department of Agriculture; Attorney General Jay Nixon, leader of the task force; Joe Driskill, director of the Department of Economic Development; and Jeff Staake, deputy director of the Department of Natural Resources.
