Jefferson City, Mo. – Attorney General Josh Hawley has released the following statement regarding President Trump’s Religious Liberty Executive Order:

“Today President Trump has begun to roll back the Obama Administration's healthcare rules discriminating against people of faith,” said Hawley. “It is high time. We fought these unjust rules in the Hobby Lobby case -- and won. No American should have to violate his or her religious faith in order to start and run a business. No ministry or religious organization should be forced to violate its teachings in order to provide healthcare to others. Today's order is a first step in remedying this injustice.”
