Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000.

Job Description

The Office of the Missouri Attorney General is seeking an individual with web development and design experience.  The successful candidate must have prior experience with graphic, multimedia and website design using current standards and technologies.  Duties will include, but are not limited to: Participating in developing website architecture, overall site structure and development methodologies; Develop, code, install, test, debug, deploy and document web applications; Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing sites and web applications; Ensure security of web sites and applications; Maintenance and updates as needed.  The successful candidate will also perform other duties, not listed above, as needed or assigned. 

The following knowledge and skills are desirable:

• Experience in developing web sites and applications using PHP5, Microsoft .net and Perl; Experience with JQuery/AJAX is preferred;
• A thorough understanding of application development methodologies and object orientated programming;
• Experience creating queries and transactions for MySQL and/or Microsoft SQL;
• Ability to identify, develop and communicate user requirements and recommend appropriate solutions;
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleges, management, vendors and professional organizations.
