Applications for project enhancements
In October 2006, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and AmerenUE entered into a settlement that required Ameren to set aside $5 million for project enhancements that would improve the quality of life, economic development, education or the environment near the Taum Sauk project area. Attorney General Nixon has received more than twenty applications for project enhancements.
