Identity Theft quiz

Much like phishing - and a takeoff on its name - the only difference with this scam is the con artists uses a text message to contact would-be victims on their wireless phones. The name uses a combination of phishing and SMS, which is the technology behind text messaging. SMS stands for Short Message Service.

Tip: Never give out your personal information to anyone who contacts you. Give that out only when you initiate the contact. For more, see identity theft.
