Durable power of attorney

Missouri law allows individuals to designate another person to make medical decisions for them if they are unable to speak for themselves. This is done by completing a durable power of attorney form.

Attorney General Nixon recommends consumers complete the advance directive forms on pages 15-20 of Life Choices. The durable power of attorney form is among them.
