Door to door sales

While many legitimate companies sell their products door-to-door, this technique is crawling with con artists. These salespeople sometimes use high-pressure or scare tactics. Criminals may even pose as salespeople to enter your home.

State law gives you the right to cancel any contract sold during a door-to-door sale within three business days.
