Assistance offered to Missouri Ice Victims

The MO Missouri Department of Insurance Financial Institutions & Professional Registration -- DIFP -- will be sending representatives to Southeast MO on February 10-12 to assist and counsel victims of the recent ice storms.

The DIFP and local agencies will have centers set up in Poplar Bluff, Sikeston and Kennett.

i think they should put a limit on the interest rates that the credit cards comp. and bank charges, they need a lower interest rate ,that would help the people and still help the economy

Mr. Pitts, Be sure to tell your federal legislators that. A bill is currently being presented that would cap all interest rates at 36%, which is high, but not the 250-700% charged by payday and title lenders.
