this might not be the best place to wright this, but I'll give it a go. The talks of bailing out the Banks that have made bad decisions and continued to make them over and over. This was a man made problem that the government is going to bail out. This Government bail out seems more like rewarding poor behavior and in my humble view might encourage more of that poor behavior. 700 Billion dollars is a lot of money and I'm willing to bet that it could be better spent. Where? I do not know, but I do know this that bailing out these companies will not help the american people it will hinder them, it will be US that pays those debts out and I'll be the one that is going to pay more on intrest because that 700 billion was used. The average joe is getting hosed on this issue and its not right. These companies knew that the morgages that they were selling these morgages to people that they knew would not be able to make the payments. This was done so they could reclaim the house when said person defaulted and they resold the house. This was done time and time again and no one took heed (sp?). This was about that company wanting to make money and it back fired on them and now every citizen will pay that price. I say the easiest way to settle it is give those people that had morgages those homes and let the company fold. Just my 2 cents and thank you Travis for letting a Missourian vent a little. it would be intresting to see a blog about the bail out. just a thought
