I read the blog to find an answer to my question - What is a reasonable amount of time for a property and casualty insurance company to settle a claim? I filed a claim in March 2008 and sent all the paperwork by the end of that month. They have all the facts of the situation but still have not given us a response. Is it time for me to file a complaint? I suspect they are just stalling as long as they can because they will have to pay the claim.
